Vodafone NZ appoints CIO

By Sim Ahmed | Tuesday, November 06 2012
At a CIO magazine roundtable event last week David Moss told this reporter that the CIO role at Vodafone was being finalised last week. Today Vodafone confirmed his appointment.

Moss has been the acting CIO of Vodafone for the last five months, taking over from previous CIO Claire Govier who left in June after working at the company for two years.

Moss has over 20 years experience working in the New Zealand IT scene. Before his appointment as acting CIO, he was previously the general manager of service transformation at Vodafone, and was responsible for Programme Sam which saw Vodafone replace its customer management and billing system across New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji.

CIO magazine is seeking further comment from Moss.
