Use technology to 'amplify' the enterprise
IT’s role has changed from automating the enterprise, to “amplifying” the enterprise, using technology to give organisations “new capabilities at speed and scale, and innovation”, he tells CIO New Zealand.
As part of this “amplification’ process he says it is important to measure the external impact of technology, the business benefits realized, and to benchmark its operational performance, to show “where IT works, good things happen”.
